The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to internal combustion engines, and can be used in devices for starting diesel engines. Devices for starting a diesel engine are known, containing a heating element projecting partially into the combustion chamber of the diesel engine and provided with an electrically conducting heating coil located inside the tubing. The part at its end is perpendicular to the axis and is connected electrically to the tubular part by means of an outer end bent at a right angle, and an electrically conducting rod. However, due to the thermal inertia, when using these devices, the diesel engine takes a long time to complete.
